Why We Believe The Creation Story Rather than Evolution/Life Sciences

Belief in the Biblical account of where we came from, who we are, and where we are going is a safer approach than a faith in evolution which hopes--dearly hopes--that there is no God and won't be any Hell.

Think of it. What if a person lives a life according to Christian principles and then it turns out that evolution was right? That at death there is nothing but blackness--an end to sensation and no further existence?

That person will still have lived a life with a feeling of fulfillment that the atheist and agnostic will not have had. He will under almost all circumstances have lived a life free from sexually transmitted diseases, substance addictions, materialism, and prolonged conflict. Maybe he will have missed out on a few cheap thrills, but for the most part, he will not have missed out on anything of much importance.

But what if the Bible is right? Where will the atheist and agnostic be when he wakes up on the other side of death's veil? Several scriptures immediately come to bear:

Clearly, this is something we don't want to get wrong.

There are two main reasons why we do not believe the biological evolutionary theory. One, it is in contradiction of the Bible (Genesis 1, all the places where God talks about nature reproducing after its own kind). The second reason is that evolution has to violate so many of its own laws to arrive at an evolutionary theory. It's bad science.

"It is ten trillion times more logical that calculators evolved and not life, becuase life is ten trillion times more complicated."--Josh.

Two fundamental laws of nature make a flat contradiction of biological evolution:

To get to evolution, people have to ignore one or both of those laws.
