Main idea: Battle of Jericho
In Joshua the 6th Chapter, Joshua and his people in their
entirety were command by God to march around the city carrying the arch
of the covenant. There were also 7 priests carrying trumpets of ram
horn. They were instructed not to make any noise while marching around
the city once a day for 6 days. Then on the 7th day they were to march
around the city 7 times; after they had marcher around the 7th time
they were instructed to give a great shout. The walls of the city fell
and God gave the city over to Israel. The only people in the city of
Jericho who were not destroyed by God or killed by the Israelites was
Rahab and her House.
