Our group feels that a lot of kids are robbed of joy and a full life because they have to endure being bullied, or maybe they have parents that don't seem to care. Some kids have parents that don't go to church.

 

Corey says"If you are being bullied, you can try and avoid those people taht are bullies" or "You can walk away and ignor them."

1. II Peter 2: 19--". . .for a person is a slave to whatever conquers him. "

2. Luke 6: 22--"How blessed are you whenever people hate you, avoid you, insult you, and slander you because of the Son of Man! "

3. Psalms 23--"1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Psa 23:2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
Psa 23:3 He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Psa 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psa 23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Psa 23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever. "

 

Memorize this chapter and whenever you get down remember it. Don't be afraid because no matter what, God will be there for you and protect you.

 

Situations: Corey has been stabbed by a pencil. Lacey says "I ran into a wall and people were laughing at me. I just told them it was not funny and it hurt." When any of thse kinds of thing happen to you, it can make you feel bad. If you tell God what has happened to you and the way you feel about it, He will help you.

 

Jesus can give you joy and a full life if you will look for Him and follow his teachings.

 

Everyone can have joy and peace if they know Jesus Christ.

 

Luke 6;22 "God blesses you who are hated and excluded and mocked and cursed because you are identified with me, the Son of Man."

 

Learn to love Jesus and your life will be better.
