Description:  The Missions ministry encompasses the outreach efforts of the Dover Church of Christ, except those from the pulpit, that attempt to bring in new members.  It includes the Prison Ministry, World Bible School, ATU Church of Christ Student Center, Southern Christian Home, Camp Caudle, Truth for Today (Eddie Cloer), Nicaragua Mission, Preacher Corp, and Rio Bravo (Mexico) mission.  This ministry attempts to directly carry out the Great Commission.

Some of our mission efforts are supported mainly in financial ways.  In recent years, our desire to become directly involved in the Great Commission has become much more evident in our Prison Ministry, World Bible School, Preacher Corp, and Rio Bravo (Mexico) activities.

Ministry is Related to and Works With:    Involvement, Benevolence, Finance, Worship Management, Office, Mass Media, Youth, Visitation, Lads to Leaders.

Participants Include, But Are Not Limited To:    Rex McDaniel, ‘Nubbin” Boley, Jim Killer, Allen Veasman, Sid & Karen Womack, Sharon Rackley, Diane Walters, Charlene Clark, Larry & Jeanne Mahan, Merrell & Roxanna Shoptaw, Clara Hefley, Joyce Walters, James & Shirlie Chadwick, Joan Vance, Shelby Statler, Micah Williams,  Alaynna Williams,  Brett Walters, Drew Walters, Alan Boatright, Donny Forehand, Blake Forehand.

Latest News in this Ministry: We have postponed our mission to Rio Bravo until summer of 2010, given the news reports of violence down there related to the drug cartels and the Mexican army. We are in the process of implementing a local mission component within our visitation ministry. Please watch for further developments on this during April 2009.
